Planning consent for our data centre in Welwyn Garden City
We are delighted to announce that we have received planning consent for a data centre in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire for CapitaLand Ascendas REIT. The detailed application for the demolition of existing buildings, followed by the construction of a new Data Centre with ancillary office space was approved by Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council on 2nd July. The approval allows for the creation of up to c.28,830 sq.m (310,324 sq.ft) GIA of development and will be constructed to achieve a BREEAM rating of ‘Outstanding’ Well done to the whole team involved!
